Supports the Head of Third Party Management and Head of Controls in meeting their responsibilities.

The role also acts as a senior point of coordination across business owners, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, Operational Resilience / BCM, Data Protection, Procurement, and relevant entity governance fora to ensure that third-party arrangements remain effective, compliant and operationally resilient.

    Third-party / outsourcing governance

    · Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Group’s third-party management and outsourcing framework, including policies, standards, procedures, governance forums and management information.

    · Ensure consistent application of methodologies for determining whether an arrangement constitutes outsourcing / third-party engagement and whether it is critical, important or material.

    · Provide senior challenge and decision support to business owners and governance committees on risk acceptance, control requirements and proportionality of oversight.

    Lifecycle oversight

    · Oversee and / or coordinate risk-based due diligence, onboarding, pre-contract assessment, approval, periodic review, ongoing monitoring, issue remediation, renewal and exit planning for third-party arrangements.

    · Drive ongoing performance and control oversight of third parties, including SLA / KPI monitoring, issue escalation, control testing support, review of independent assurance, and challenge of remediation plans.

    Registers, documentation and management information

    · Own or oversee maintenance of the third-party / outsourcing inventory and related registers, ensuring completeness, data quality, timely updates and readiness for regulatory reporting, internal audit and supervisory review.

    · Produce high-quality management information, risk reporting, thematic analysis and committee papers on third-party population, critical services, due diligence status, control gaps, incidents, renewals, concentration exposure and remediation activity.

    Monitoring and assurance

    · Assist coordination of responses to internal audit, Compliance Monitoring Plan findings, regulatory requests, inspections and thematic reviews relating to outsourcing / third-party risk.

    · Support and lead client assurance activities, including the coordination and delivery of third-party management due diligence reviews, responses to client questionnaires, and participation in onsite client meetings and reviews.

    People leadership / stakeholder management

    · Act as a senior subject matter expert and trusted advisor to business leaders, entity boards / committees and control functions on third-party and outsourcing governance matters.

    · Support the design, development, delivery and continuous enhancement of a structured third-party management training and awareness programme across the organisation, ensuring that business owners and relevant stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities across the full third-party lifecycle.

    · Lead, coach and develop junior TPM staff and promote a strong controls culture across the third-party lifecycle.

    · Build effective working relationships across jurisdictions and functions to support consistent application of the framework while accommodating local legal and regulatory requirements.

    · Primary level degree in business, finance, accounting, law, risk or a related discipline.

    · Professional qualifications in risk, audit, compliance, procurement or outsourcing governance are desirable but not essential.

    · At least 6 years’ experience working in the fund administration, financial services or relevant regulated industry.

    · Significant experience in third-party management, outsourcing governance, supplier risk, operational risk, vendor management or related control functions within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
