    Job description

    A BIT ABOUT YOU
You understand irrigation. You’ve always found it interesting, and it always comes easily to you. More operationally than socially focused, you easily identify problems and enjoy solving them in your area of expertise. You are motivated by a genuine concern for getting work done thoroughly, efficiently, and correctly. You want to feel your impact at a growing company. You’re a natural problem solver, and you thrive in a quickly changing environment. Confident, independent, and motivated to make improvements, you work to build and follow processes that deliver high-quality results. Committed to helping others succeed, you support others through your work.
    A BIT ABOUT US
We like plants, people, and beautiful spaces. John Mulhall came to Omaha in 1953 to landscape, and now, three generations later, we’re as committed as we’ve ever been to making Omaha a more beautiful place to live. Today, we’re a team of a few hundred people, but our focus remains the same: working together to engage our community and share our passion for the beauty of the natural world. And we have fun doing it.
    A DAY IN THE LIFE
As our Irrigation Field Manager, you’ll report to the Maintenance Operations Manager in our Greater Omaha Landscape Management Branch. You’ll focus on serving our customers by keeping things sustainably watered, always with a mind to our vision to be the most loved commercial landscaping company in the Midwest.
    YOUR IMPACT
o Lead a small team by holding 1:1 meetings, modeling strong management, and sharing key information across roles and departments.
o Provide consistent, constructive feedback using Radical Candor and support team growth through coaching and accountability.
o Champion a safety-first culture by enforcing policies, training your team, and recognizing safe behavior in the field.
o Own the irrigation process by managing schedules, coordinating repairs, and responding quickly to client and team needs.
o Maintain accurate records in Aspire by reviewing time entries, material allocations, and job costs daily—no work ticket left behind.
    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
o    3-5 years of irrigation experience
o 3+ years of customer service experience, preferred
o A proactive team player who collaborates with others to anticipate and solve problems
o A focus on repeatable success through well-thought-out systems
    WHAT WE OFFER
o An inclusive, passionate, and fun work environment
o The opportunity to grow your career in concert with the natural world
o Great potential for personal and professional growth
o An amazing discount on all the plants and plant things you love
o Competitive pay and access to a full benefits package including 401(k), 401(k) match, PTO, paid holidays, medical, vision, dental, paid family leave, company-paid short-term disability, an Employee Assistance Program for free and confidential mental health, legal, and financial services, referral bonuses, Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flex Spending Account (FSA) options, pet insurance package options, wellness partnerships, community membership partnerships, and retail discount partnerships
