Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

This role is a new opportunity for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner based in Rockhampton!  You will be based in our Rockhampton office and will be required to travel up to a couple of times a month to the Gladstone area.  We are open to FT or PT (min 4 days a week).

What will I be doing?

• Learning the daily role of a practitioner: conducting assessments, writing PBS plans, analysing behavioural data, and writing behavioural data reports, assisting in conducting training, and implementing plan strategies.
• Assisting core and proficient practitioners in the implementation of plans.
• Weekly supervision and training to increase knowledge as a behaviour support practitioner.

Essential requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in allied health or social and behavioural sciences – we have roles for graduates who are planning their next move, or those seeking 4+2 or 5+1 registration.
• Hold a current QLD driver’s licence.
• Hold a current paid blue card (working with children check) and paid yellow card (NDIS Worker Screening Clearance) or be willing to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel in the Rockhampton and Gladstone
