About us

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP)
on a 12 month fixed term contract to join our London Mission Critical team.

About the Role

You will provide strategic and operational HR support, acting as a trusted advisor to our leadership teams and play a key role in shaping our people strategy.
The HRBP oversees the employee lifecycle, supports workforce planning, and uses HR insights to improve processes.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide guidance on HR policies, people
  matters, and support the delivery of HR strategies. 

• Act as a trusted advisor on employment law, HR best practice, and organizational change. 

• Partner with leaders to drive a high‑performance culture, supporting consistent and equitable
  people practices. 

• Lead complex employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinaries, and performance improvement. 

• Promote an inclusive workplace culture that enhances employee experience and retention.

• Ensure consistent application of company policies across the business. 

• Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development to build a strong leadership pipeline.
• Manage the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance, development and offboarding.

• Partner with managers on reward, compensation, compliance, HR reporting, and business continuity planning.

• Oversee compensation and benefits to ensure competitiveness and alignment with market and business strategy.

• Analyze HR metrics to support decision‑making and continuous improvement. 
• Lead HR projects, including change initiatives and development programmes.
• Drive continuous improvement across HR processes, systems while staying updated and ensuring compliance on employment legislation and HR best practices.

Qualifications/ previous experience: 

• Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent level HR role.

• Strong employee relations experience with ability to handle sensitive matters.

• Knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation and compliance requirements.

• Relevant industry experience including Architecture. 

• CIPD qualification (or equivalent). 

• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience leading HR projects and supporting change initiatives. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trusted relationships.

• Strong understanding of Inclusion & Diversity importance, with ability to embed inclusive practices.

• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
