About the Company & Role
If you're a pet lover with a startup mindset, this one's for you. We make personalized, science-backed fresh food for dogs — real ingredients, gently dehydrated, tailored to each dog, delivered on subscription. We're a seed-stage, funded DTC brand with real early traction, built on a simple belief: pet parents deserve food they can actually trust for the family member who can't read the label themselves. Our founding team comes from early roles at multiple unicorn startups, and our product is led by a PhD-level R&D team with active university research collaborations — small, science-led, and AI-native in how we operate.
This isn't a support role — it's a seat at the core team table. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders, owning strategic projects one day and rolling up your sleeves on the unglamorous work that keeps a lean startup alive the next — including getting hands-on with customer support and experience. What you will do:
- Work directly with leadership on the decisions and projects that shape where the company goes next
- Take full ownership of initiatives that span the business — from how we grow to how we keep customers
- Get comfortable in the data: understand what's working, what isn't, and make a clear case for what to do about it
- Stay close to the customer — including handling real interactions — because that's where the sharpest instincts come from
- Find smarter ways to work: build processes and leverage tools (including AI) that let a small team move like a bigger one
What you will need:
- 0–4 years of experience — we care more about how you think than where you've been; strong fresh grads are very much welcome
- A background in a quantitative or technical discipline is preferred, but what matters more is how you approach problems
- You think clearly, communicate sharply, and know how to make a point without burying it
- You're genuinely AI-native — not as a buzzword, but in practice. If you've been quietly building workflows, automations, or agents on the side, that's exactly the energy we're looking for. If AI means the occasional search query, this probably isn't the right fit
- Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus
- Must have the right to work locally in Hong Kong
