Merchandiser

Nassau Agencies (1995) Ltd. is a pharmaceutical and OTC wholesale distributor.  We have been in operation for over 25 years and deemed one of the leading wholesalers in this industry.  We have quality brands, with an experienced, skilled staff that provide our customers with top notch service.  Our aim is to continue to grow our brand to exceed industry standards. 

We are looking for an experienced, committed worker to join our warehouse team. A full-time position is currently being offered.  Our standard hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in or around a warehouse.
• Ability to follow and execute instructions.
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Accuracy – ability to perform work correctly and thoroughly.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Merchandising products on a ‘need to’ basis.
• Follow planograms provided by Brand Managers to the extent to which it is allowed by the individual store in question.
• Communicate professionally with salesman about close dated items and possible slow movers.
• Rotate products to ensure maximum use of the ‘FIFO’ order of operations.

• Assist with picking and delivering orders. (Extenuating circumstances ONLY)

Physical Demands:

This role involves frequent physical activity and exposure to varied environments. It requires prolonged standing, walking, driving, and regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs. or more with assistance. Duties include bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs, and safely navigating uneven surfaces. Associates must operate equipment and vehicles, have adequate vision and hearing for instructions and communication, and work in all weather conditions. Good physical stamina, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting are essential.
