Sales Associate

Position Summary:

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting with product sales and customer service via phone, email and in person. In this job, you will be required to provide an efficient and friendly experience by helping customers with their product needs and queries.

Position Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Sales Experience or similar role preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Possess an enthusiastic and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm with difficult customers.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent Computer Skills - ability to learn new software quickly.
• Organized – being able to document transactions processed.
• Diligent and punctual.
• Accuracy – ability to perform work efficiently and thoroughly.
• Detail Oriented – ability to pay close attention to the minute details of the task at hand.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Greet customers via phone or in person.
• Process orders and transactions via phone, email and in person.
• Anticipate customer needs and make suggestions based on that need.
• Product Knowledge – able to explain the features and benefits of products.
• Assist with product promotion and customer awareness.
• Follow company procedures when processing orders.
• Manage financial transactions.
• Arrange returns and exchanges.
• Collaborate with team members to offer excellent customer service and address customers’ concerns.

• Follow good distributor practices and required work safety practices (training will be provided).
• Attend product training meetings and develop an understanding of the company’s products.
• Provide customer feedback and complaints to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.
