The WLC Facilitator is responsible for conducting leadership seminars and workshops for high school student conferences during National FFA’s Washington Leadership Conference. Core responsibilities include teaching conference curriculum, providing counsel to participants, motivating students, serving as a tour leader, and addressing disciplinary issues when necessary. Facilitators also manage administrative tasks, including the timely completion of expense vouchers, scheduling conference travel, and corresponding with local, state, and National FFA staff.
This role requires participation in two weeks of planning and training prior to the first conference and certification in First Aid/CPR upon hire. All responsibilities may be adjusted, changed, or removed at any time by the Program Specialist or Program Manager.
