Position Summary:
The intern will support the event planning and implementation strategies for the chapter’s Teams Department. The Teams Department Intern will provide direct and crucial support to the Development Department’s efforts to increase awareness, funding and participation in the chapter’s 14-county service area, with a specific focus on Teams initiatives, Walk MS and Run MS.

Training/Orientation Provided: The Development Department provides training and orientation regarding the Chapter and the internship. Clearly defined department priorities and personal responsibilities are provided. The intern can expect to receive ongoing support and supervision as well.
Time Commitment: Minimum of 10-15 hours per week, which may be flexible but will require some scheduling.
Compensation: This is an educational, unpaid internship. This internship is designed to educate and allow students to be hands on with special events for a nationwide nonprofit organization with major fundraising events.
