Telephone Triage Nurse (Remote)

<p><span style="color: rgb(41, 105, 176);"><strong>THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION</strong></span></p><p>Part Time/Contract Position</p><p>DUTIES:</p><p>-Assess patient health problems over the phone and via secure video</p><p>-Schedule appointments and refer patients</p><p>-Advise and monitor simple home treatment interventions</p><p>-Instruct patients in self evaluation</p><p>-Use Schmitt/Thompson protocols to assess patients</p><p>REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>-At least 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse; preferably in the ICU, ED, Mother/Baby unit, Peds, Home Health & Hospice</p><p>-Excellent critical thinking skills</p><p>-Compassionate, caring attitude</p><p>-Expertise and experience in disease management, coaching, crisis intervention</p><p>-Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)</p><p>- Highspeed Internet (DSL or Cable)</p><p>-Laptop, PC or MAC</p><p>-Dedicated work space</p><p>-Flexibility with scheduling i.e. ability to work every other weekend and some holidays</p><p> </p><p><br></p><h3>Requirements</h3><p>Compact RN license </p><p>3-4 Years of experience in Peds, OB, ICU, Med-Surg, Hospice, Home Health, Occupational Health </p><p>Prefer experience with Schmitt-Thompson Pediatric and Adult protocols </p><p>Comfortable working with EHR, Word, Excel, and other programs required for position </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
