The Signature Research Programme in Health Services Research & Population Health (“HSRPH”) in Duke-NUS Medical School is a centre of academic excellence for research and education of health systems and services for the population in Singapore and beyond. Our research methods include implementation science, health economics, decision science, survey/qualitative research, quantitative medicine, epidemiology, and data science. The population health outcomes programme Duke-NUS has established provides a framework for evaluating and improving healthcare delivery systems nationwide. We are also developing a range of educational activities for healthcare professionals including short courses, graduate certificates, Masters course and PhD programmes.

We are seeking a Research Assistant/Research Assistant (Senior) to join our team at HSRPH. The successful candidate will work closely with senior investigators on studies related to mental health and psychological interventions. This role offers hands-on experience in qualitative (and selected quantitative) research within a multidisciplinary and collaborative academic environment. The successful candidate will support a research portfolio related to mental health and psychological interventions. The responsibilities includes:-

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative, operational, and coordination support across multiple projects
  • Manage participant follow-up and scheduling, and maintain accurate study records and tracking logs
  • Perform data entry and verification
  • Assist with preparation of study materials and documentation, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Assist with qualitative research activities, including transcript review, qualitative coding, and qualitative data management, as required.
  • Support academic outputs through literature searches, reference management, proofreading, and manuscript preparation, as required.
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling and meeting room bookings, and support project logistics and communications with team members and collaborators
  • Provide administrative support for study finances, including participant reimbursements, payment notifications and claims processing
  • Set up Qualtrics databases based on data collection templates and distribute survey links to participants
  • Undertake other research and administrative duties as assigned
