Why Join Animal Emergency Clinic – Grand Terrace

At Animal Emergency Clinic – Grand Terrace, you'll have the opportunity to do more than practice Internal Medicine—you'll help build a specialty service from the ground up. As our founding Internal Medicine specialist, you'll have the autonomy to shape the service around your professional interests while benefiting from an established emergency hospital, an experienced clinical team, and the resources of Ethos Veterinary Health.

For more than 50 years, Animal Emergency Clinic has been a trusted resource for emergency veterinary care throughout the Inland Empire. You'll work alongside an experienced emergency team, develop strong relationships with referring veterinarians, and help expand access to specialty medicine for a growing community.

As part of Ethos, you'll also have access to a national network of specialists, professional development opportunities, and a collaborative community committed to advancing veterinary medicine.

    Location Highlight

Located in the Inland Empire, Grand Terrace offers Southern California living with easy access to Los Angeles, Orange County, Palm Springs, Big Bear, and the region's beaches. The area provides abundant opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and other outdoor adventures while offering a more accessible cost of living than many coastal communities.

Benefits for this role may include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), retirement benefits, paid time off (including sick leave and vacation), short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance.

    • Competitive compensation ($200,000–$250,000 + Production)

    • Perform and/or order diagnostics such as ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, and CT as available
    • Coordinate with emergency and other specialty teams on shared patients and transfers
    • Develop lasting relationships with referring veterinarians throughout the Inland Empire
    • Help establish clinical protocols and workflows as the Internal Medicine service grows
    • Mentor technicians and assistants as part of daily case management
    • Pursue opportunities for continued growth in areas such as ultrasound proficiency and advanced procedures
    • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning

    What You Bring

    • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for California veterinary licensure
