    Job description

    Veterinary Medical Oncologist
Full-Time opportunity in Northfield, New Jersey

    Why Join Northfield Veterinary Center

At Northfield Veterinary Center, you'll have the unique opportunity to build and shape a growing Oncology service within one of the region's newest specialty hospitals. We are seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Medical Oncologist who is excited about joining a collaborative specialty team, delivering advanced oncology care, and helping establish the future of specialty medicine in Southern New Jersey.

Opened in 2024, Northfield Veterinary Center was purposefully designed to provide advanced specialty and emergency care to a rapidly growing referral community. As the only specialty hospital within an 80-minute radius, our hospital serves as a critical resource for local veterinarians and pet owners, creating significant opportunity for specialty growth and referral development. You will collaborate closely with specialists in Emergency, Critical Care, Surgery, Cardiology, and advanced imaging services while helping expand oncology care in an underserved market.

Our hospital features state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, including a Fuji 32-slice CT scanner, two fully equipped surgical suites, dedicated induction and treatment areas, advanced surgical equipment, and a supportive team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are committed to investing in the growth of our specialists and welcome innovative ideas that help strengthen our services and patient outcomes.

For the right candidate, this opportunity offers the ability to build a meaningful, long-term oncology service while benefiting from strong referral demand, a collaborative culture, and significant professional growth potential.

    Location Highlight

Located just five minutes from the beaches of the Jersey Shore, Northfield offers an exceptional balance between career opportunity and coastal living. Residents enjoy easy access to beautiful beaches, outdoor recreation, excellent schools, and family-friendly communities, while remaining only 40 minutes from Philadelphia and 90 minutes from New York City. Combined with a more affordable housing market than much of northern New Jersey, Northfield provides an outstanding quality of life for individuals and families alike.
