    Overview:

    Clinic Hours are 7am-4pm, Weekdays

    Minimum 16 hours per month

    Job Description Summary:

    Monitors and promotes the health and well-being of employees through various programs and initiatives.

    Job Description:

    Essential Functions:
    • Assists in monitoring the health of employees by coordinating appointments and organizing medical records. Maintains confidentiality of employee health information and complies with all relevant privacy laws and regulations.
    • Collects, documents, and reports vital signs. May complete screening questions and documentation or minor specimen testing as assigned.
    • Ensures environmental standards are met and all unit and patient areas are stocked, cleaned, and maintained.
    • Collaborates with management to develop and implement health and wellness programs for employees.
    • Coordinates department communications and the processes related to administrative and environmental activities on the unit.
    • Completes continuing education and participates in offered educational opportunities. May act as a preceptor and train other staff.
    Education Requirement:
    • High School graduate or equivalent GED, required.
    • Successful completion of an approved medical terminology course or demonstration of equivalent competence, required.
    Licensure Requirement:

    Certifications:

    Current CPR certification (BLS-Health Care Provider), preferred.

    Skills:
    • Computer skills required. Ability to navigate most current technology systems.
    • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
    • Possess effective interpersonal,verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
    Experience:

    Previous health care experience in medical office or clinic setting, preferred.

    OCCASIONALLY: Bend/twist, Biohazard waste, Flexing/extending of neck, Fume /Gases /Vapors, Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs, Lifting / Carrying: 11-20 lbs, Lifting / Carrying: 21-40 lbs, Loud Noises, Machinery, Pushing / Pulling: 0-25 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 26-40 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 41-60 lbs, Squat/kneel, Walking

    FREQUENTLY: Blood and/or Bodily Fluids, Chemicals/Medications, Communicable Diseases and/or Pathogens, Electricity, Sitting, Standing

    CONTINUOUSLY: Audible speech, Color vision, Computer skills, Decision Making, Depth perception, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Hearing acuity, Interpreting Data, Peripheral vision, Problem solving, Repetitive hand/arm use, Seeing – Far/near
