    To support our growth, we are looking for a mid-level Business Development Coordinator with experience in the A&E space to join our Southern California operations, with a home office based in Anaheim. In this role, you will support business development initiatives across Southern California to expand NCE’s presence, strengthen client relationships, and position the firm for continued growth.     What You Will Do

    • Support business development (BD) efforts for our southern California operations as directed by the Marketing Director.
    • Coordinate and participate in corporate and regional marketing programs.
    • Work collaboratively with project managers, client sponsors and the rest of the BD team.
    • Coordinate and attend professional conferences and events.
    • Prepare market assessments and leads creation/maintenance of client management plans.
    • Manage and maintain relevant BD and client information in NCE’s marketing database.
    • Participate in weekly conference calls and BD meetings.
    • Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to business development.
    • Some travel including overnight stays

    Qualifications (Must Have):

    • Associates of Arts certification or Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Business or related business field.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, as necessary.
    • Proficient with online project management database programs
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to multitask and to work with minimal supervision on multiple projects with fast-paced deadlines.
    • Strong background in developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns.
    • Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues.
    • Ability to learn and efficiently manage and maintain a database.
    • Ability to travel throughout Southern California, including occasional overnight stays.

    Qualifications (Nice to Have):

    • Minimum (2 to 5) years of experience in business development within a civil engineering, consulting or technical services environment.
    • Familiarity with Southern California municipal or county clients and public agency procurement processes.
    • Familiar with Ajera database

    Working Conditions: This position requires working outside of normal business hours, including working evenings and/or weekends as necessary to attend industry functions, conferences and client meetings. While NCE has a flexible work policy, as a new company employee, we expect, and feel you will benefit and have a better opportunity to integrate into our company culture while initially working in your assigned office location on a regular basis amongst your peers. Standard Company business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

    Salary range: $75,000 to $100,000 annually depending on experience.
