The Associate Director – Commissioning & Execution will establish and run the Commissioning Execution Office, lead the commissioning of both the satellite clinic and the main hospital, own the integrated plan and critical path across both sites, and create the operating rhythm that keeps every workstream moving in unison. The role will work closely with the CEO, C-suite and clinical, nursing, technology, facilities, medical equipment, regulatory, people, finance and non-hospital site teams to drive execution, surface risks early and ensure timely resolution of critical-path issues.
Responsibilities

- Own the integrated master schedule for both the satellite clinic and main hospital, consolidating workstream plans into a single source of truth with clear milestones, owners and dependencies.
- Lead end-to-end commissioning of the satellite clinic, from site and facility readiness through licensing, staffing, systems, go-live and stabilization.
- Identify and actively manage the critical path across facility handover, medical equipment procurement and installation, IT infrastructure and clinical systems, workforce recruitment and onboarding, clinical service setup and regulatory licensing.
- Design and run a structured readiness framework with defined gates, criteria and evidence requirements for departments and service lines.
- Plan and lead simulations, day-in-the-life exercises, mock patient journeys and dress rehearsals.
- Build the go/no-go framework and deliver an objective readiness recommendation to the CEO and C-suite.
- Act as the glue across clinical, nursing, technology, facilities, supply chain, people, finance and clinic/non-hospital site teams.
- Resolve interdepartmental conflicts and dependency disputes and escalate matters requiring leadership intervention.
- Produce concise executive-grade reporting for the CEO, C-suite and board, covering critical-path health, readiness scores, top risks and decisions required.
- Maintain the commissioning risk and issue register and build dashboards that make progress and gaps visible.
- Partner with clinical and technology leaders to drive adoption of new workflows and systems and track training completion and competency readiness.
- Design and run go-live command centers, including triage protocols, escalation paths, daily huddles and real-time performance monitoring.
- Manage the hypercare period, transition stabilized operations to line leadership, capture lessons learned and leave behind a reusable playbook for future service launches and sites.
- Any other related task assigned by management.
