    • Build positive relationships with local community groups and organisations to support resident inclusion and well-being.
    • Manage the activities budget responsibly and ensure the home is well stocked with appropriate recreation equipment.
    • Lead, support and develop the Recreation and Well-Being Team, including rotas, regular supervisions and annual appraisals.
    • Maintain accurate records of residents' activities and social and well-being care plans.
    • Ensure photographs and other activity information are recorded in line with Nellsar's GDPR and consent procedures.

We are looking for someone who is:

Naturally caring and genuinely interested in people
Confident communicating with residents, relatives, colleagues and external organisations
Organised and able to manage several activities and events at once
Comfortable working independently and using their own initiative
Able to lead and encourage a team
Passionate about creating opportunities for residents to remain active, engaged and connected
Professional, reliable and committed to maintaining high standards
Previous experience in activities, recreation, well-being, care, hospitality, community work or a similar role would be beneficial, but we are particularly interested in finding someone with the right personality, creativity and passion for making a difference

    Why join Nellsar?

This is an opportunity to use your creativity and personality every day while helping residents enjoy new experiences, maintain relationships and continue doing the things that matter to them.
If you are someone who can turn an ordinary day into something special, we would love to hear from you.
