The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager (this is not a Digital Product Manager role) to help shape the future of Netwealth’s managed account capability.

Partnering closely with the Head of Managed Accounts, you'll help define product strategy, identify new growth opportunities and turn strategic priorities into a roadmap that delivers value at pace. This is a highly visible role with end to end ownership across the product lifecycle, from discovery and business case development through to delivery, commercialisation and optimisation.

You'll play a key role in the commercial success of our managed account and discretionary solutions, using market insights, customer needs and product performance to influence future investment, pricing and product direction.

This opportunity is suited to an ambitious product leader who thrives on ownership, enjoys challenging conventional thinking and wants to make a genuine impact for advisers, clients and the broader business.

What you'll be doing

• Shape the managed accounts strategy and translate it into a clear product roadmap, business cases and delivery plans.

• Own the prioritisation and delivery of the managed accounts pipeline, including onboarding new partners and model managers.

• Lead cross functional initiatives across Technology, Digital, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Distribution and Investment Governance.

• Drive commercial outcomes through product performance analysis, market insights, pricing and feature prioritisation.

• Ensure product documentation and disclosure materials remain accurate, compliant and up to date.

• Coach and mentor Product Managers and Product Analysts, helping lift capability across the product function.

About you

• 8+ years' product management experience in financial services, wealth management, fintech or digital platforms.

• Proven track record launching, commercialising and growing successful products.

• Strong knowledge of Australian financial services regulation, product governance and DDO frameworks.

• Experienced leading complex programs and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.

• Commercially minded with strong product judgement and the ability to make decisions in ambiguous environments.

• Customer focused, strategic and curious, with a passion for identifying opportunities and driving innovation.

• Tertiary qualifications in commerce, product management or a related discipline, with additional industry qualifications highly regarded.

• Experience coaching and developing product professionals.
