About Neuberger:
The Global Funds Administration team oversees the firm’s EMEA mutual fund platform (approx. $81.8 billion in AUM, as of 30Jun2025) which encompasses UCITS, QIAF, and closed-end investment trust vehicles. The team is focused on ensuring the platform can be distributed globally and that the firm’s clients receive the highest standards of service when investing through Neuberger Berman mutual funds. The function is based in London and partners extensively with colleagues in the US, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
Role Overview
This role within the EMEA Fund Data Operations team is suited to an experienced asset management professional. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting fund‑related initiatives across the business, with disciplined adherence to the regulatory frameworks governing our products. The role requires effective cross‑functional engagement with stakeholders at all levels, including Product Development, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Investment Risk, Portfolio Management, Client Services, IT, Operations, Custodians, and external service providers to the fund range. A strong track record of collaboration, governance, and delivery in a regulated environment is essential.
The role reports to the Manager of Fund Data Operations
Responsibilities:
Overall
- Effectively manage day-to-day responsibilities to ensure continuity of coverage during periods of elevated workload or unforeseen absences.
- Uphold a robust control environment, ensuring standards, policies, controls, and procedures are rigorously applied and evidenced.
- Take ownership for meeting all deadlines and deliverables, both individually and in collaboration with the wider team.
- Escalate material issues to management promptly and appropriately via direct communication.
- Continuously review processes and procedures to identify and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and control.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders (including Product Development, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Investment Risk, Portfolio Management, Client Services, IT and Operations,), external service providers, and Fund Administrators.
Core
- Coordinate the production and delivery of UCITS KIIDs, PRIIPs KIDs, SICAV KIDs and updates to Prospectuses and Supplements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage fund lifecycle events, including fund launches and registrations, new share class openings, and fund closures, with disciplined planning, stakeholder coordination, and robust governance.
- Ensure compliance with MiFID II reporting obligations, covering transaction costs and charges, EMT, EPT, and EET, with appropriate controls, validation, and audit trails.
- Demonstrates disciplined query management with urgency and rigour, delivering timely, high‑quality responses to stakeholders across the business and formally documenting outcomes and actions where required.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of fund documentation to ensure operational processes and workflows are accurately detailed, remain fit-for-purpose, and are maintained via a structured, periodic review cycle.
- Proactively partner with internal teams, including Product Development, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Investment Risk, Portfolio Management, Client Services, IT and Operations to ensure clear alignment, disciplined collaboration, and timely, well‑governed decision‑making.
- Demonstrate proven vendor management capability, ensuring fund data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness; performing regular service level reviews; managing and resolving queries, and reviewing contractual documentation (including SLAs) to maintain strong service delivery and control.

- Actively participate in and contribute to project initiatives, providing subject matter input and driving delivery as required.
- Support internal audit activities and requirements, including evidence provision, control walkthroughs, remediation tracking, and timely closure of findings.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned that are commensurate with the responsibilities outlined above, ensuring high standards of execution and governance
Key Requirements / Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in asset management or financial services.
- Extensive experience in the creation and oversight of PRIIPs KIDs, UCITS KIIDs, and SICAV KIDs.
- Strong technical understanding of fund structures, operating models, transaction cost methodologies, and the applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-priority workloads, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Skilled in prioritisation and teamwork, with a consistent focus on timely, high‑quality delivery.
- Strong project management experience is desirable, including planning, governance, and stakeholder coordination.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels and collaborate across functions and jurisdictions.
- Highly organised, with excellent administrative, problem-solving, and analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with Python and SQL is advantageous, with a strong interest in applying data analytics and AI tools to enhance fund oversight, automation and decision support.
