JOB SUMMARY:
Provides and coordinates the necessary support, resources, supervision, and leadership to ensure the daily operation of the day program at NCFL. Facilitates changes and/or additions to programs that reflect the changing needs of the individuals we serve.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following but are not limited to):
- Aid and support the Program Director to ensure all program needs are met
- Oversee and ensure that all program staff, recruitment, orientation, and training needs are properly addressed
- Develop community relationships and integrated opportunities appropriate for the program participants
- Ensure the proper staff coverage and support is maintained to meet participant needs
- Ensure Individualized Service Plans are properly developed, implemented, and monitored to meet individual needs
- Ensure the proper coordination and provision of agency transportation
- Provide staff training and development support including but not limited to direct instruction, curriculum development, and scheduling support
- Ensure proper program and administrative documentation to ensure compliance with Agency policy and various federal, state, and local requirements
- Participate in and assist with identified program, staff, managers, and management meetings
- Provide on-call support, as scheduled, or requested to meet program needs
- Sustain compliance with all personnel requirements necessary to maintain employment
- Maintain client confidence and protect agency by keeping information confidential
- Cooperate with New Concepts and Department Staff in any inspection and/or investigation
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience working with IDD population in a managerial capacity
- Strong leadership skills, oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills
- Professionalism, problem solving skills, computer skills, collaboration, flexibility, and time management
