The Associate, Retail Planning (E-Commerce) will ensure all Retail Store inventory moves and transfers are entered accurately, on time, and maintained in the system to support the daily launch calendar and replenishment requests from the store teams.

The E-Commerce Merchandising, Buying & Planning team at New Era Cap owns the company’s digital business by planning product assortments, inventory levels, and digital sales strategies across online channels, in addition to the Buffalo Store + NYC Flagship. They analyze prior program performance data, forecast go forward demand, track inbound deliveries, prep all items for timely launches, and partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure product availability and optimize the customer experience to drive e‑commerce growth.

Responsibilities 

• Enter all Stock Transfer Orders manually in SAP by working independently to prioritize workload to meet hard deadlines and shifting priorities
• Keep existing orders updated in a timely manner as changes come through
• Work closely with Planning Assistant Manager to clearly communicate orders to the Distribution Team
• Create systematic transfers in Shopify to ensure the retail locations can receive items into inventory upon arrival
• Work with Content Coordinators to set up new items in Shopify so they flow to the store’s registers
• Assist with preparing for and executing Pop Up Retail Events by appropriately positioning inventory ahead of time and ensuring inventory counts are accurate prior to shipment and upon arrival back from the event
• Maintain integrity of inventory reporting systems, reconcile regularly, and make adjustments as needed
• Keep all sensitive matters confidential
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

• Ability to thrive amongst frequently changing priorities and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and established computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to learn and utilize new systems
• Comfortable establishing relationships and interacting with various levels within the organization
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and efficiently prioritize workday to maximize productivity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Enthusiastic, pro-active, and positive person who adapts to change and with urgency and persistence

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field preferred; additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in a related field required
• Retail Environment experience preferred
• Knowledge of sportswear or apparel industry preferred

• The location for this position is 100% on-site in Buffalo, NY
• 0% to 5%; domestic

The salary range for this posted position is $45,000-$50,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation will fall within this range and is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
