    Summary: The prestigious New York Athletic Club, one of the world's premier clubs, established in 1868 and located on Central Park South in Manhattan is seeking a Membership Services Coordinator. The candidate for this position will assist the Membership Services Office by serving as a responsive liaison to members regarding all aspects of membership.

    The Membership Services and Intra Clubs Coordinator will assist members during their election process and throughout the tenure of their membership. The coordinator will support the Membership Team by answering membership e-mails and calls, which may relate to billing inquiries, transfer requests, reinstatement, and resignation inquiries. The coordinator will assist in administrative tasks within the Membership Office, such as prepping monthly board items, entering applications for membership, and assisting/attending with the monthly candidate interview sessions and the Prospective Member's Reception. The role includes supporting the Assistant Dir. of Membership with responsibilities including but not limited to: assisting in planning, organizing, and executing membership events; Serve as the primary coordinator for 50+ Intra Clubs and their committees. The coordinator must adapt to changes in policies and procedures and will be expected to assist in any other general duties assigned.

    Candidate must have excellent written and oral communicational skills, strong work ethic, highly organized with a strong attention to details. Ability to multi-task and prioritize is a must. Candidate should be capable of handling a high volume of calls and e-mails. Candidate must be willing to work occasional late nights and select weekends.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Membership and Intra Club related E-mails/Calls
    2. Assisting with Election Process, including candidate proposal entry
    3. Board Prep and processing
    4. New member orientations
    5. Transfers, resignation, reinstatement requests
    6. Providing Club Tours
    7. Attending Prospective Members’ Receptions, Monthly Membership Interviews, and other member engagement events
    8. Membership roster data entry and filing
    9. Assist Intra Clubs with the planning and coordination of events and activities
    10. Coordinate administrative needs, including vendor payments, flyer distribution, event reminders, and special orders for Intra Clubs
    11. Support Intra Club leadership with special projects and initiatives as needed
    12. Facilitate communication between Intra Clubs and Club departments
    13. Intra Club Billings, Reservations, and new IC member onboarding
    14. Membership & Intra Club Ads (Canva) and Email Campaigns
    15. Payment follow-ups
    16. Monthly Interview Prep
    17. Any other general duties assigned

    Requirements:

    - Must have a bachelor’s degree; Hospitality/Communications/Public Relations/Marketing preferred.

    - Prior experience in the Hospitality field a plus.

    - Must be proficient in all Microsoft programs.

    - Experience with Jonas, North Star or similar club management software a plus.

    - Experience using Canva and Excel a plus.
