Our Rehabilitation Department offers: Inpatient therapy services Outpatient adult therapy Outpatient pediatric therapy in free-standing clinics This position is primarily based in our outpatient pediatric setting , working with children across a variety of developmental and functional needs.

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for delivering optimal patient care through the planning, organization, and implementation of individualized occupational therapy programs. This role includes evaluation, assessment, documentation, and treatment, with an emphasis on supporting pediatric patients in achieving functional independence and developmental milestones.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide skilled occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory standards Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members Educate families and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs Maintain compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and ethical guidelines Why Join Newberry Health?
