Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS/RVT/RDCS) (Call Only) We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS/RVT/RDCS) to join our Newberry Health team in our on-call only position. On-call hours are Monday -Monday 7pm-7am . This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced sonographers to contribute to patient care in a dynamic medical environment, providing essential diagnostic imaging services with flexibility and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across various specialties, including obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal, vascular, and other areas as required. - Accurately operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for interpretation by physicians. - Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear instructions and support. - Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of procedures and findings. - Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines. - Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. - Participate in on-call duties, responding promptly to imaging requests as scheduled.
