Freight Forwarder
Responsibilities:
- Organising and coordinating domestic transport operations in a temperature-controlled environment
- Planning and optimising transport orders
- Cooperation with carriers and development of a subcontractor base
- Managing own and external fleet and participating in its development
- Calculating transport costs and analysing the profitability of orders
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and business partners
- Supervising operational documentation and preparing analyses and reports
- Performing tasks in accordance with the company’s procedures and policies
Requirements:
- Experience in a freight forwarder position (experience in refrigerated transport will be an asset)
- Knowledge of the transport market and domestic freight forwarding rules
- Communicative knowledge of English
- Planning skills and analytical thinking
- Good work organisation and ability to work independently
- Ability to build business relationships
- Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
