Overview:

We are seeking an Operator to join our team. The role involves monitoring warehouse systems and processes to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the automated warehouse, identifying issues, responding to faults, and supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations.

Location: Wakefield
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating days/nights (06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00)

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will monitor warehouse hardware and software systems, respond to operational faults, carry out repair and maintenance activities, and support the effective operation of the automated warehouse. You will identify risks and anomalies, take corrective action where required, complete associated administrative tasks, and work closely with colleagues to maintain operational performance and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Need:

We're looking for someone with a good understanding of warehouse and logistical processes, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should be proactive, safety-focused, and confident using warehouse systems and software. Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
