Scheduler

We are seeking a Scheduler to work closely with Shift Supervisors and Leads, Planners, Warehouse Staff, and the local NewCold management team. The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the scheduling of all customers inbound and outbound loads, ensuring deliveries and pickups are properly planned and executed.

This position will gather, maintain, and update scheduling data and records, communicate shipping and receiving information, and ensure system information is accurate and up to date. The Scheduler will play an important role in supporting NewCold’s key performance areas, including customer satisfaction, productivity, operational efficiency, and accuracy, while contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$25-$28/hour

Roles and Responsibilities

Assist in meeting scheduling demands while building good customer relationships and ensuring all requests are responded to in the highest professional manner.

Set up all customer pickups and deliveries using the MLS system.

Update online scheduling portals (BlueJay, C3) with appointments.

Respond to all customer and carrier calls that are received in the highest professional manner.

Run required reports for NewCold customer needs.

Maintain pickup and delivery schedule and ensure the accuracy of all scheduling documents.

Assist Site Manager and Operations Manager with any special requests.

Requirements

1 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both

Detail and customer service oriented.

Excellent planning, organizing, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Strong written and communication skills.

Excellent mathematical skills.

Must be able to lift minimum of 30lbs

Must be able to work in freezer environment on occasion as needed.

Education/Certification

High School Diploma or GED required.
