WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) … We are seeking a Substance Use Specialist to join our team. Partnering with care teams, this role will coordinate care for our clients. Completes the Intake & Psychosocial Assessments to determine diagnosis including mental illness and co-occurring disorders.

    This role will accept individuals who are in the process of obtaining their LCDP with proof of progress toward completion of the licensure.

    Essential Duties:

    • Provide individual substance use counseling to assigned clients in accordance with organization policy & procedures.
    • Lead group activities and group therapy related to substance abuse and addictions.
    • Participate in comprehensive team treatment planning and activities.
    • Collaborate with other disciplines and coworkers to ensure client needs are met.
    • Educate clients regarding issues associated with substance abuse treatment.
