Job Description:
Embedded hardware engineer is responsible for designing embedded hardware architecture from system requirement documents.
Roles & Responsibilities
● Conceptualize, design, oversee fabrication, test and validate hardware prototypes following industry standards for UAVs.
● Collaborate with software and firmware functions to understand and implement the system interfaces
● Testing the electronics hardware, generate report and interpreting the performance data
● Writing test procedures, functions specification, rework procedure and test report preparation
● Writing and reviewing qualification documents (QT Plan, QT Procedure, QT
Reports, Similarity and Analysis Reports, etc.), according to project requirements for qualification.
● Technical leadership and Project Management skills to ensure flawless execution of engineering statements of work
Skills/Abilities/Experience:
Mandatory
● Embedded, Analog and Digital Circuit design, Microcontroller/Microprocessor architectures, Motor Drivers, Power Electronics and related debugging skills
● Expertise in creating hardware designs for systems and products.
● Expertise in Design architecture for components and Sub Components.
● Expertise in implementing embedded systems serial protocols
(UART/USB/SPI/I2C , CAN etc.)
● Experience as a design architect to contribute towards safety and reliability design and analysis requirements.
● Knowledge and understanding of various signal flows, in an end-to-end integrated modular avionics architecture development within a system-of- systems environment
● Demonstrate strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Should have a high degree of proficiency with documentation tools.
● Able to independently work on activities such as stress/derating analysis, tolerance, performance analysis & stability analysis.
● Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills on electronics products.
● Experience in a lab environment using test equipment such as an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power supplies etc.
● Experience on simulating the electronics circuit functionality using various tools.
● Experience with EMI/EMC/ESD concepts, good understanding of grounding/shielding concepts
● Knowledge of Manufacturing of Electronic Assemblies (manufacturing readiness assessments, Rapid Prototyping, electronics manufacturing)
Desired
● Past experience and demonstrated ability to manage aerospace product design
& development and certification testing, laboratory and flight test facilities and relevant work-statement is a plus.
● Experience in Electrical CAD/Simulation tools (KiCAD, Eagle, LTspice, Altium,
CATIA V5 Electrical etc)
● Component level & system level certification and standards.
● Exposure to Aerospace wiring harness standards.
● Knowledge and understanding of technologies, policies and procedures related to engineering of defense related products.
● Knowledge of RTCA D0-160, RTCA/DO-254, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464 , SAE
AS50881H regulatory specifications
● Experience with Analog/Power electronics (amplifier, filter, power supply, analog circuit designs, sensor and controllers)

● Be a self-starter, able to work independently with minimum supervision, positive demeanor and highest work ethics.
● Proactively seek information and direction to optimally complete the statement of work.
● Responsible for on time delivery and quality. Identify flags and handle escalations. Review all deliverables / reports generated by the team and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
● M.E/M.Tech in Electronics/Electrical engineering and over 4 years of work experience, or
● B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical engineering and over 6 years of work experience.
