As a financial controller, you will be part of the Nets group accounting team, reporting to the head of accounting and tax. You will play a crucial role in assisting the business with valid data for managing operations. Your role will be diverse and impactful, offering you the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects that influence the strategic direction of our business. Key Responsibilities:
Handle consolidation and ongoing reporting to public authorities
Prepare quarterly reports and annual financial statements
Perform ad hoc tasks related to budgeting and forecasting
Review reports from subsidiaries
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Act as a strategic partner to various stakeholders, driving innovation.
Oversee the preparation and review of cash flow statements
Monitor and report on Net Working Capital (NWC)
Prepare and present monthly financial reports to senior management
Support with various ad hoc tasks
What We Offer:
What We Expect from You:
5-7 years of experience in a similar role in a finance department or audit firm
Relevant education, such as a master's degree in economics or a related field
Business-oriented mindset with a curiosity for streamlining and automating processes
Strong accounting and finance skills
Understanding of accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is a plus
Experience with SAP is advantageous but not mandatory
Attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind, and being a proactive problem solver who can identify and resolve issues efficiently
Proficiency in IT, especially Excel
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to complete tasks on time and with high quality
