    Summary:

    The National Sales Specialist is responsible for national sales and account management of retail accounts across the United States, overseeing all aspects of servicing Niterra accounts. This role involves conducting sales calls with established accounts, developing sales and marketing plans with accurate product forecasts, participating in customer strategy meetings, and serving as a liaison between the factory and customers. The ideal candidate brings strong aftermarket and retail experience, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to drive sales volume and profitability across an assigned territory.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage national sales and account responsibility for retail accounts in the USA.
    • Oversee all aspects of servicing Niterra accounts.
    • Participate in strategy meetings with customers and Aftermarket management.
    • Conduct sales calls on established accounts, both in person and by telephone.
    • Act as a liaison between the factory and the customer when necessary.
    • Process orders for Niterra products as needed.
    • Complete required paperwork related to sales and account activities.
    • Create sales and marketing plans and provide all relevant product forecasts.
    • Relay all competitive information to Sales & Marketing Headquarters promptly.
    • Manage activities within established budget parameters.
    • Participate in trade shows, including setting up booths, distributing promotional materials, and answering questions concerning Niterra products.
    • Assist management with various duties as needed.
    • Meet or exceed set sales targets.
    • Perform all other job-related tasks as assigned. Due to the independent nature of this position, the incumbent must perform all duties and job functions associated with this position.
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as applicable.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field of study.
    • 5+ years of sales and account management experience.
    • 5+ years of aftermarket experience, preferably with a national retailer.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Strong business math and budget control skills.
    • Strong marketing and planning skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to develop strategies that move business and sales objectives forward.
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
    • Ability to manage an assigned territory with respect to sales volume, profitability, and marketing.
    • Valid state driver's license, proof of insurance, and an acceptable driving record.

    Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

    This role requires driving, business travel by public transportation, lifting up to 40 pounds, walking, and the associated hazards of driving and commercial travel.
