NHC HealthCare Anniston is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team. As an RN, you will play an important role in providing high-quality nursing care and supporting positive outcomes for our patients and residents.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and established nursing standards.
- Assess patient and resident needs and monitor changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Communicate changes in condition to physicians, nursing leadership, and appropriate members of the care team.
- Supervise and support nursing assistants and other assigned nursing staff as appropriate.
- Assist with development and implementation of individualized plans of care.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, NHC policies, and professional nursing standards.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or a current multistate/compact license that permits practice in Alabama.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current CPR certification as required.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.
Sign-On Bonus
Eligible hires may qualify for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Eligibility, payment schedule, and other terms are subject to NHC guidelines and center-specific requirements.
