    Job description

At NiCE, we don’t limit our challenges. We challenge our limits. Always. We’re ambitious. We’re game changers. And we play to win. We set the highest standards and execute beyond them. And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.

So, what’s the role all about?
Join our Singapore Professional Services team and help financial institutions turn business and regulatory needs into practical solutions. You will work with APAC clients and regional colleagues across the delivery lifecycle, from analysis & design through testing and implementation.

How will you make an impact?

    • Lead technical workstreams for the implementation of AML and financial crime technology solutions across customer delivery projects.
    • Design, develop, configure and support custom components using Java, JavaScript, SQL, scripting and API integrations.
    • Design and implement integrations with customer applications, enterprise platforms and third-party services.
    • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs, implementation plans and estimates.
    • Lead technical workshops, design reviews and implementation planning discussions with customer and internal stakeholders.
    • Drive unit testing, defect resolution, root cause analysis, performance tuning and technical quality reviews.
    • Support deployment planning, release readiness and operational handover across on-premises, cloud and container-based environments.
    • Identify technical risks, dependencies and scope gaps early, and recommend practical mitigation options.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to implementation engineers, including code and design reviews.
    • Contribute reusable assets, delivery standards, knowledge articles and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Support solution reviews, delivery estimation and presales activities where required.

Have you got what it takes?

    • 5-8 years of enterprise software implementation, application development or technology delivery experience.
    • Experience working directly with customers in Professional Services, consulting, system integration or enterprise software delivery environments.
    • Strong hands-on development experience with Java, with working knowledge of JavaScript, scripting and API-based integrations.
    • Strong SQL capability covering implementation, complex troubleshooting, data analysis and performance tuning using MSSQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL.
    • Experience designing system-to-system integrations using REST APIs, web services and enterprise integration patterns.
    • Ability to independently translate business requirements into technical solution designs, work plans and delivery estimates.
    • Experience leading technical workstreams and coordinating activities across analysts, architects, engineers and project managers.
    • Strong customer-facing communication, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills in English.
    • Strong problem-solving, ownership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple delivery priorities.
    • Ability to review technical deliverables, coach junior engineers and maintain implementation quality standards.

    Good to have:

    • Knowledge of NICE Actimize or similar AML, fraud, compliance, KYC, risk or financial crime solutions.
    • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, YAML, GitHub, Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline practices.
    • Experience with application servers, web servers, Linux/Unix environments and operational scripting.
    • Knowledge of deployment automation, application performance optimisation and production-readiness practices.
    • Experience in banking, brokerage, insurance or another regulated financial services environment.
    • Exposure to AI-enabled delivery tools and implementation automation.

    What success looks like

    • Technical workstreams progress from design through deployment with clear ownership and predictable outcomes.
    • Solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned with approved requirements and architecture standards.
    • Technical, data, integration, deployment and performance risks are identified and managed proactively.
    • Customer stakeholders receive clear recommendations, timely escalation and structured issue resolution.
    • Implementation engineers benefit from practical technical guidance, reviews and knowledge sharing.
    • Reusable practices and delivery assets improve implementation quality and efficiency across engagements.
