    Job description

    We're looking for a client-facing insights professional with strong expertise in Consumer & Shopper Insights. The ideal candidate is highly data-driven, comfortable working with numbers and analytics, and can transform complex consumer and shopper behavior data into compelling business stories. They should possess strong client management skills, a consultative mindset, and the ability to deliver actionable recommendations that drive commercial growth and strategic decision-making.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to expand NIQ Consumer & Shopper Insights solutions.
    • Act as a trusted partner to clients by translating business challenges into actionable consumer and shopper insights.
    • Analyze shopper, consumer, retail, and market data to uncover key trends, behaviors, and growth opportunities.
    • Leverage analytics and behavioral insights to help clients make informed business and commercial decisions.
    • Develop compelling client presentations and insight-led narratives that clearly communicate data findings and strategic recommendations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality insights, customized analyses, and client solutions.
    • Support business development activities through client engagement, proposal development, and solution positioning.
    • Stay informed on market trends, shopper behavior, consumer dynamics, and industry developments to provide relevant recommendations to clients.
    • Identify emerging shopper and consumer trends and translate them into business opportunities for clients.
    • Utilize data visualization and storytelling techniques to simplify complex analytics into actionable insights.

    • 3-5 years of experience in Consumer Insights, Shopper Insights, Market Research, Customer Analytics, Category Management, Retail Analytics, or related fields.
    • Proven experience working directly with clients and managing stakeholder relationships.
    • Strong expertise in consumer and shopper insights, shopper behavior, and customer decision-making processes.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work confidently with large datasets, interpret findings, and generate actionable recommendations.
    • Experience utilizing data to uncover consumer and shopper trends, behaviors, and business opportunities.
    • Ability to translate complex analytics into clear and compelling business stories for clients and senior stakeholders.
    • Understanding of market research methodologies, consumer research, shopper research, syndicated data, or panel research.
    • Strong presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills.
    • Commercial mindset with the ability to connect insights to business outcomes and growth opportunities.
    • Proficiency in data analysis, insight generation, and storytelling with data visualization tools is highly preferred.
