NIKA is hiring for a Project Management/Construction Management Support to support our client at Naval Medical Center San Diego (Balboa), CA.

Job Description:
- Project Management: work scheduling, production control, progress/submittal reviews, coordination of ongoing Minor/Major Projects; weekly status reports
- Construction Management: monitor/inspect projects for contract and health/safety compliance; conduct DAILY inspections of active Infection Control Containments; assess NMCSD Work Permit Program compliance (no certification required); submit inspection reports within 48 hours; report Life Safety findings immediately
- QA/Project Oversight: review projects for milestone/deliverable compliance; coordinate crew start/end times, work plans, constructability, phasing, infection control and safety; assist contractors with base access; manage project closeout (documentation, keys, spare parts, O&M manuals, record drawings, equipment labeling, signage); weekly QA/oversight reports
- Attend meetings and conduct site visits as required
- Bachelor's degree in a construction or engineering field, OR 8 years of construction/engineering experience
- MUST be US citizen and have ability to obtain security clearance
