JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for someone who likes active and hands-on work to join us as a Delivery Driver at Nonn’s. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and works at our warehouse operation in New Berlin, one mile from I-94. In this role, you’ll load/unload, distribute, and deliver materials to construction sites and residences. The Delivery Driver also assists with warehouse duties, including basic maintenance and picking orders. The Delivery Driver works a full-time, first-shift schedule, Monday to Friday. Training provided.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Drive company van on scheduled local and regional route with occasional unscheduled stops and changes. May drive other vehicles to deliver materials, such as a 26-foot box truck.
• Assist with loading trucks and vehicles; deliver and unload materials to job sites.
• Responsible for accurate delivery of materials as noted on orders and work tickets.
• May pick up materials from vendors and may load materials into customer vehicle.
• Communicate in a courteous manner with customers throughout the delivery.
• Troubleshoot any questions or concerns in a professional manner.
• Document or communicate status of delivery, including changes, with manager.
• Assist with picking and staging orders in the warehouse for subcontractor pickups and job site deliveries.
• Assist with sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assist with warehouse maintenance, focusing on a clean and organized work area.
• Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
