Education Qualification: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

Objective of the Role

The primary objective of this role is to develop, coordinate, and monitor maintenance and resource planning activities for HEMM equipment to ensure optimum utilization of resources, maximum equipment availability, uninterrupted operations, timely execution of maintenance plans, and achievement of organizational performance goals.

Job Responsibility

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

• Develop preventive, predictive, scheduled, and major maintenance plans for HEMM equipment.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and major maintenance schedules based on equipment HMR.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely execution of planned activities.
• Monitor equipment availability and minimize downtime through effective planning and resource allocation.

Monitoring & Performance Analysis

• Track daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plan versus actual performance.
• Analyse maintenance deviations and identify root causes for schedule slippages.
• Monitor key maintenance KPIs such as Equipment Availability, MTTR, MTBF, and Equipment Reliability.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and maintenance performance reviews for management.

Inventory & Material Management

• Ensure availability of critical spares, consumables, tools, and materials required for maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for timely replenishment of inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and optimize inventory without affecting equipment availability.
• Support spare parts planning and inventory control initiatives.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and enhancement of MTTR and MTBF.
• Support implementation of reliability-centered maintenance and operational excellence initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, statutory regulations, and company procedures.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement programs.
