Description of Work
The Electrician II is a journey level position in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. Installs, maintains, alters, and repairs wiring, electrical devices, machinery, and equipment. Work assignments are received from a foreman or other supervisor and are performed independently and in accordance with accepted trade practices. Work is reviewed through inspection of completed work for quality and compliance with work orders and is further evaluated based on the continued workability of equipment, systems, and fixtures repaired or installed.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Salary Grade Range: $41,206 - $72,113

Minimum Education and Experience

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of experience in the construction or repair of secondary electrical systems; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
