Fabrication Technician Summary: Assists with ensuring tasks are performed within budget and schedule. Provides technical guidance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the Fabrication department by performing the technical duties associated with fabrication and assembly tasks including handwork, fit and finish.
• Verify conformance of finished assembly to specified tolerances, blueprint specifications, and other required specifications with various measurement tools, including, but not limited to, calipers, scales, micrometers, and gauges
• Interpret, select, adopt and apply appropriate guidelines, procedures, and practices which relate to appropriate assemblies, disassembles and component rework or repair
• Highlights issues and concerns early with the Fabrication Supervisor to be able to resolve effectively to achieve task, program and company objectives
