Responsibilities

Leads the daily activities of the front office staff.  Performs a variety of administrative, secretarial and clerical duties which directly support patient care and practice personnel in the overall operation of the practice.  Assignments are characterized by a high degree of knowledge and application of hospital and practice policies, procedures and operations.  Incumbent is expected to interpret and execute the duties and responsibilities of the job with only limited supervision and direction.  Position is characterized by the ability to prioritize and organize multiple assignments.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or Six (6) months of clerical, secretarial or customer service experience or completion of post-secondary education

Two (2) years of experience in a medical office setting.

PREFERRED

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.

Good organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to manage time of self and others.

Good Verbal and written communication skills

Basic math skills

Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM):

8:30-5:30
