    Responsibilities

    Works collaboratively with assigned leader to administer and coordinate all operations in order to achieve and maintain clinical quality, financial viability, patient and visitor safety as well as service excellence and customer satisfaction.

    Responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of the assigned Physician Practice and all its employees.  Responsible for the coordination of all practice services including but not limited to patient access, scheduling, pre-authorization, chart management, staff performance management, charge posting and reconciliation; invoice processing using BancPay, Enterprise e-Time, medical assistant clinical services, any procedures and/or other functions.  Is responsible for ensuring compliance with departmental operational throughput goals.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED

  1. High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education.
  2. Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program or Graduate of a U.S. Military medic course.
  3. Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare/office practice setting, one of which must be as a Medical Assistant.  Must include 6 months at a lead or supervisor level in clinical, scheduling and/or front office operations.
  4. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support
  5. PREFERRED

  6. Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) or Medical Assistant (RMA) certified through American Medical Technologists (AMT)
  7. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or sciences, public health or other closely related fields.
  8. Minimum of three (3) years patient care experience as a Medical Assistant in physician practice or other ambulatory care setting.
  9. Implementation and maintenance of an electronic medical record.
  10. Work Hours:

    7:00am-5:00pm
