Job Description
Executes the maintenance of supplies, instruments, and equipment used in operating room.
Job Responsibility
- Maintains surgical implants and supply par levels; places purchase orders for required surgical implants and supplies; receives surgical supply deliveries.
- Verifies accuracy of deliveries with purchase orders on file.
- Transports and stores items in appropriate locations.
- Enters implant tracking serial numbers into department computer system.
- Assists in reviewing daily case schedule and pick lists and prepares case carts accordingly.
- Enters each patient’s surgical supply profile in department computer system.
- Captures and records surgical supply charges for all surgical cases.
- Identifies and corrects implant and supply discrepancies, as needed.
- Maintains constant communication with Purchasing, Materials Management, and related departments.

Job Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
