We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to join our team in Austin! This role is all about keeping our kitchen clean and organized. If you take pride in maintaining high standards and supporting the kitchen crew, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Washing dishes, cutlery, and cookware with attention to detail and efficiency
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to meet health and safety regulations
• Stocking serving stations and organizing storage areas to keep everything accessible
• Ensuring adequate supplies are available for kitchen staff throughout service
• Setting up and breaking down stations as needed
• Supporting kitchen operations and assisting with general prep work

What You Should Have

• 1 or more years of experience in a high-volume kitchen

• A valid Food Handlers Certification is required and must be obtained before entering this position

• Must be a highly organized individual with the ability to handle numerous tasks at a time

• Must have an accommodating attitude

PHYSICAL AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Must be able to stand or walk a minimum of eight hours.
• Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
• Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb, and carry objects as necessary.
• Must be able to lift to 25 pounds.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment in the presence of areas containing high noise levels, bright lights, and dust, and communicate during this time – sometimes within a small area.
• Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes.
