    Job description

    Responsibilities

    • Diagnostic imaging services including CT, ultrasound, x-ray, mammography and nuclear medicine
    • Various image guided procedures
    • Physician will be responsible to the Zone Department of Radiology for professional responsibilities and quality of practice, as well as operated within the medical staff Bylaws of Nova Scotia Health
    • Provide hospital and call support as required
    • Contribute to and participate in other administrative responsibilities as assigned

    Expected Hours

    • Locum and/or, short term appointment
    • On call requirement
    • eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
    • certification with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
    • eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC)
