Provides skilled occupational therapy services consistent with licensure as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
Helps individuals develop, regain, or maintain daily living and work skills
Assesses a person’s physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
Designs personalized treatment plans to improve independence
Teaches strategies for activities like dressing, eating, and grooming
Recommends adaptive equipment and teaches clients how to use it
Modifies home, school, or work environments for better accessibility
Supports people recovering from injury, illness, or disability
Works with children on motor skills, sensory processing, and school-related tasks
Helps older adults stay safe and active in daily routines
Collaborates with families, teachers, and healthcare teams to support the client’s goals
