Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Documents receipt of raw materials and submits all corresponding paperwork to the shipping office. - Unloads and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site; Supplies production lines with the raw - materials as needed. - Inspects forklift for safety prior to operation on each shift. - Store raw materials in designated bins in raw material warehouses. Stack pallets neatly with labels visible. - Responsible to maintaining all process equipment. - Responsible for cleaning filters on production lines. - Organizes bans and stacks empty gaylords and pallets. Coordinate with the shipping supervisor on the - disposition of this product. - Gathers all scrap plastic and loads on scrap plastic truck. - Maintain loading lines to hoppers / vacuum pumps - Troubleshooting machinery to correct issues as required - Ensure housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility is safe, clean, and free of materials Skills and Competencies: - Ability to perform simple calculations and apply good mathematical reasoning - Basic computer skills required. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision. - Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
