As a Business Development and Corporate Tree Strategy Specialist in the tree industry, you will be responsible for driving new markets of our tree-related products and services to commercial clients and assisting clients with their long term tree strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential commercial clients within the designated territory through cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Consultative Selling: Understand the unique needs and challenges of commercial clients in the tree industry. Provide expert advice and solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our tree-related products and services, including but not limited to tree care, maintenance, removal, and consulting services.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations to potential clients, outlining the value proposition and benefits of our products and services.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients, acting as their trusted advisor and main point of contact. Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales Performance: Meet and exceed sales targets and KPI's set by the company. Continuously seek opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes relevant to the tree industry. Use this knowledge to adapt sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaboration: work closely with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and customer service to coordinate sales efforts, address client needs, and ensure smooth project execution.
