    Advisor, Committees, Ongoing full-time, Sydney

    This role is a Clerk Grade 0708, with a base salary for this role starting at $116,981 - $129,492 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced and strategic Advisor, Committees to support the effective governance and operation of key INSW committees, including the Infrastructure NSW Board and Audit and Risk Committee. This role provides end-to-end secretariat and coordination support, contributes to the development and implementation of governance frameworks, and supports policy, compliance and governance initiatives that enhance organisational accountability, transparency and effective decision-making.

    Some of the key responsibilities for the role include:

    • Provide end-to-end secretariat support to the Audit and Risk Committee and INSW Board, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and papers, taking minutes, and tracking actions to ensure effective governance outcomes.
    • Prepare high-quality reports, briefing materials and governance documentation to support informed decision-making, while ensuring compliance with governance frameworks, reporting obligations and public sector standards.
    • Maintain governance systems and records, including Diligent administration, document management, audit readiness activities, and secure record keeping.
    • Deliver administrative, coordination and stakeholder support services across the Committees function and broader division, ensuring responsive and efficient operations.
    • Support the review and update of policies and procedures, coordinate consultation processes, maintain governance registers, monitor compliance, and escalate risks or non-compliance issues as required.

    About You

    You will bring proven experience in governance and secretariat support, including coordinating Board and committee processes, preparing meeting documentation, and maintaining governance records.

    You have strong skills in providing building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.

    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Diligent, together with knowledge of public sector governance frameworks and reporting obligations, will enable you to effectively support governance outcomes across the organisation.
