Are you passionate about leading meaningful change on a large scale? This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the NSW Government's most significant gaming reform initiatives.

    About the Role

As the Program Lead, you will drive the transition to a modern two-way communication protocol across the NSW gaming machine network, supporting the delivery of enhanced regulatory and harm minimisation capabilities.

Working at the intersection of technology, policy, regulation, and industry, you'll lead a complex program that will have a lasting impact on the hospitality sector and the community.

You'll collaborate with senior executives, industry representatives, technology partners, and government stakeholders to bring this transformational reform to life.

While supported by specialist technical teams, your focus will be on strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, change management, and program delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who enjoys navigating complexity, building partnerships, and delivering outcomes that matter.

    About You

We're looking for an engaging and forward-thinking leader who can bring people together and drive complex initiatives from concept through to implementation. You will bring:

    • Experience delivering large-scale technology, digital transformation, or system implementation programs with broad organisational or industry-wide impact.
    • A strong understanding of the gaming industry, gaming technologies, or experience working within a highly regulated environment.
    • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build trusted relationships across diverse groups.
    • Demonstrated experience managing external vendors and service providers, including contract oversight and performance management.
    • A collaborative approach and the ability to work across policy, operations, corporate services, regulatory, and technical teams.
    • Strong program management capabilities, balancing competing priorities, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
    • Strategic thinking, adaptability, and resilience when working in a complex and evolving environment.
    • A passion for delivering meaningful reform and creating positive outcomes for government, industry, and the community.

This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys leading transformational programs, working with influential stakeholders, and shaping the future of gaming reform in NSW.
