Sr. UX Designer - Developer (VA) -VA-540-004-105

NT Concepts is seeking a Senior UX Designer / Developer to join our Vienna, Virginia team. The candidate will create rich user experiences (websites, dashboards, application/mobile UIs) across a variety of platforms and devices. We need a team player who can adapt to a multitude of development environments, and use their awe-inspiring skills to influence, elevate, and energize people and projects.
Essential Job Duties

• ·         Collaborate with the customers/project leads to achieve a deep understanding of their requirements and needs
• ·         Create sketches, wireframes and prototypes to map out, visualize and test application flow
• ·         Develop and integrate frameworks, graphics, javascripts, CSS and other support assets
• ·         Research, resolve, and document technical problems and obstacles
• ·         Ensure that best practices and standards are followed
• ·         Deliver a great user experience, in terms of visual appeal, intuitiveness, ease of use, device independence, and style

Education / Experience Requirements:

Successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• ·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
• ·         Position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in UI design
• ·         Advanced knowledge of web technologies, frameworks and tools, jQuery/CSS2-3/HTML4-5
• ·         Excellent command of Adobe CS products
• ·         SharePoint MOSS/2010 design experience a plus
• ·         Solid understanding of interface design and information architecture
• ·         Ability to design and produce user experiences, from storyboard concept to final solution
• ·         Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills relating to the design, creation, and testing
• ·         Ability to develop complex UI code and integrate artwork, text, and multimedia
• ·         A passion for clean, compliant, and semantic markup
• ·         Position requires clear and effective written and oral communication skills
• ·         Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
